Starting and Staying Healthy as a Ram
Maintaining a Healthy Diet
Colorado State University has dining halls all over campus, as well as restaurants in the student center at your disposal.

Dining Halls
As a first year students living in the residence halls, the dining halls on campus are at your disposal. There is always something for everyone, no matter what special needs you might have!
The four largest dining facilities are Braiden, Durrell, The Foundry (Corbett/Parmelee), and Ram's Horn.
Allison hall's dining center is just takeout. If you're in need of a quick meal, grab a soup and salad at Spoons.
Ramwich in Braiden Hall is also express. If you need a quick sandwich, Ramwich will let you design your own and take it to go!
All dining halls offer options for restricted diets and can cater to any of your needs.
Nutrition Counseling
Understanding proper nutrition can be difficult without assistance. There is no diet that fits for everyone. When it comes to what you put into your body, the best thing for you may be completely different than others. The way you eat is the way you fuel your body, and can make a huge difference in your wellbeing.
Eat Well @ CSU is a program working towards general nutrition advice for students on campus. This program provides accessible general information that can be found in places like the dining halls and offers advice on how to maintain a balanced diet.
As a CSU student, you have access to free nutritional advice from a registered dietician nutritionist. You can schedule appointments and get advice for free!
Other on Campus Dining
The Lory Student Center (LSC) is a great place to be social, study, get access to a very large variety of resources, and get food on campus. With your dining plan, you get Ram Cash. Ram Cash can be spent at many places on campus such as laundry in the dorms, vending machines, DX and Ram's Horn, but also the restaurants in the LSC. There are many options for any meal of the day and even a coffee shop.
Durrell Express (DX) and Ram's Horn (in Academic Village) are convenient locations to pick up quick meals and snacks on campus. You can use both Ram Cash and meal swipes at these locations, and they offer a large array of small meals and munchies. There are plenty of prepackaged, less healthy snacks, but Eat Well @ CSU also works with these locations to help you make healthy choices.
